Reformers Unanimous is an outreach to people who are addicted to anything from Behavioral Obsessions which are Obsessions with Sex, Gambling, Shopping, Internet, Sports, Exercise, Video games, etc. to Physiological Dependence which include drugs including: alcohol, narcotics. nicotine, amphetamines, etc.; and a prison ministry which is also the Reformers Unanimous ministry at a local prison here in Chattanooga, TN. Both behavioral obsessions and physiological dependence fall under the category of addiction. We also are a discipleship ministry. Our meetings are open to everyone who desires a closer walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today we went door to door inviting people to our meetings and to our church. We are also involved in Vacation Bible School starting tomorrow at 4 PM and concluding Wednesday night. We are ministering to children including teenagers. Our Reformers Unanimous members are winning over their addictions. Gambling, alcohol, pornography, narcotics, obesity, and many more sins are being conquered through trust and reliance on Jesus Christ. As the words of the old song go,"bring your burdens to the Lord and LEAVE them there," many are doing just that. God is still saving the lost, still relieving sad and distressed people who have lost their way in life. As Adrian Rogers said, "Its always to early to quit, and its never to late to get started." So come on, we will help you get started on the road to victory. We have a great support team who are eager to console you and be your friend. What are you waiting for?
We have ten principles that we live by as well as every word that proceeds fromthe mouth of God.
Here are the principles: 1. If God's against it , so am I. 2. Every sin has its origin in our hearts. 3. It is easier to keep the heart clean than to clean it after it has been defiled. 4. We cannot fight a fleshly appetite by indulging in it. 5. Small compromises lead to great disasters(otherwise known as little sins lead to big sins). 6. Those who do not love the Lord will not help us serve the Lord. 7. Our sinful habits do hurt those who are following us.8. It is not possible to fight a fleshly temptation with fleshly weapons. 9. We lose our freedom to choose when we give in to temptation. The consequences of our choices are inevitable, incalculable and up to God. 10.God balances guilt with blame. Accept the blame for your actions and God will remove the guilt.
By following these principles and God's word (the bible) we can get our lives on the right track and keep them there. The greatest step you can take in your life is accepting God's Word (the Bible) as the Truth. God outlines his plan for salvation - the way to eternal life. You can stop living in sin today and begin a life-long journey of growth in Christ. If you're ready for a change then read the plan of salvation below (taken right out of the Bible).
1. Accept the fact that you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 2. The payment for your sin is death. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 3. The payment for your sins was paid in full. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth (demonstrated) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
4. Believe in Christ's death, burial, and resurrection and trust Him to save you from sin's penalty. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name; 5. Call upon Him (in prayer) and God will answer. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Now pray this prayer: Father, Thank You for the free gift of eternal life. I know that I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness. I am sorry for my past sins and I ask You to forgive me.
Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and arose from the dead. I now open the door of my heart and invite You to come into my life. I know that there is nothing that I can do to earn my
salvation and I place my complete trust in You alone for eternal life. I choose to follow You as my Lord. Please make me the person me the person that You want
me to be. In Christ Name, Amen
One of the best habits I have ever acquired is reading a chapter in Proverbs every day. This book is filled with so much practicality for day-to-day living. The underlying meanings taught in this book prove as applicable today as the day they were first written. No matter your occupation or vocation, the truths
taught in Proverbs are intended by God to help us overcome every difficult circumstance in life... if, and only if you search out their underlying meanings. That is the purpose of a proverb. Question: How do you motivate students to participate in the program? Answer: We have created an awards based program, similar to the one God created for those who obey Him.

We are sent to bless the world, but never are we told to compromise with it. "Lord, give me the spirit of Elijah; give me the faith of Noah. Deliver me from the scramble for popularity and strengthen me to serve alone, oblivious to the roar of the crowds. Amen." "Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven..."

We had great meeting last night!!! One man saw our Reformers Unanimous banner and walked into our meeting. Our banner is continuing to attract people to our meetings!!! Reformers Unanimous has the answer for addictions because we teach what Jesus taught: John 3:16, says: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. And John 14:6, says: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. We can come to Jesus for forgiveness and cleansing!!! Who would not want to be forgiven and cleansed of ALL their sins? 1 John 1: 9, says: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. This is an awesome statement!!! Come to our meetings and learn more. John 8:36, says: If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. Free from addiction, free from sin!!!
