Meet others who have been on both ends of the addiction spectrum as we discuss the good times, the not-so-good, and the consequences drugs and alcohol have on ourselves and society in general.
Drugs and alcohol have had both positive and negative effects on the world we live in, and our group aims to take an objective approach to receive better insight into why we become dependant on chemicals, how they affect our day-to-day lives, and how each of us choose to control or attempt to control ourselves with our best (and even our worst) interest in mind.
Please note that this is in no way affiliated with Alcoholic's Anonymous, Narcotic's Anonymous, or anything else that forces a set belief structure to attempt to control what you believe in and how you survive addiction. We have no affiliation with any particular church or rigid set of beliefs that has proven over time to provoke ignorance, intolerance, and doubt in one's self.
We believe that people should have the right to express themselves regardless of their current social status or upbringing.
Let's exchange stories, thoughts, and have a good time learning from people of different backgrounds and lifestyles.
Meetup Groups meet face-to-face to pursue hobbies, network, get support, make friends, find playgroups or even change the world!
