Weekly meditation/discussion group for creative people who are recovering from addiction in any form. We open with guided mindfulness practice and follow up with discussion for accountability and support. We practice the five precepts of classic mindfulness training to keep our meetings/group safe. They give us both the courage to care deeply about ourselves and our creative interests, along with the lightheartedness that allows us to be playful with those gifts.

If you love anything to do with Harry Potter and anything related, then this is the group for you! We discuss the books, movies, actors, and characters. Any member with a HP collection can arrange to show it off during a meeting. Book discussions go in sequence with the first meeting starting with HPSS/PS. Coming in costume is encouraged but not required - let's make use of those RenFair and Halloween costumes more than once a year! Renaissance, Medieval, and Harry Potter related clothes only …

We are moms of all ages, sizes, colors, who join together to "embrace motherhood and keep it real." We meet up and chat about what's happening in the lives of our children and those around the world to put an end to the "mommy wars."
